Hi, we're Magen and Tucker, and these are our Golden boys Tobi and Ace. Our love for Golden Retrievers began in our childhood homes, where dogs weren't just pets; they were family. This bond deepened when we brought home Tobi in 2021 and Ace in 2023. These two are so much more than just dogs to us; they're our best friends, our fur babies, and our pride and joy.
Like any devoted dog owners, we want our boys to experience long, healthy and happy lives. Our world was turned upside down when Tobi was unexpectedly diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia and arthritis at just two years old. We were overwhelmed with heartbreak and fear about what the future would hold.
This experience deepened our understanding of Golden Retrievers' unique needs, which are often inherent due to genetics and unpreventable.
When searching for ways to support Tobi, we recognized there was a lack of products on the market that addressed these breed-specific health issues. Faced with the pressing need to alleviate Tobi's immediate discomfort and prevent future pain, we were inspired to create Retriever Fever.
Motivated by Tobi's condition, our mission is to enhance the well-being of Golden Retrievers, and direct our focus on their unique needs, particularly in supporting their hip and joint health.
Beyond the supplements, foods, and medications, there’s another element that’s just as important - the place that our dogs rest & sleep. Dogs spend an average 12-14 hours a day sleeping, so it's clear that proper support for their hips and joints is crucial for their overall condition.
